What it does
Map brand aliases, misspellings, and variants to canonical brand names. Clean up messy CRM and dispatch data.

How it works
- Your system sends a raw brand name as received from CSR, form, or import
- ApplianceAPI resolves the input through 130+ alias mappings and misspelling corrections
- The canonical brand name is used for all downstream lookups and matching
- Your system receives consistent brand names regardless of input quality
Why it matters
- Handles sub zero, Sub-Zero, SUB ZERO, SUBZERO as identical brands
- Corrects 13+ common misspellings: WHILRPOOL, THERMADOOR, FRIDGIDAIRE, SAMSUMG
- Maps abbreviations and parent companies: GE → GE, KA → KitchenAid
- Improves database deduplication by standardizing brand names across records
